Obituary of Donn Calabrese

Calabrese, Donn J. Webster: Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 8, 2014. Age 78. Predeceased by his parents, Stella and Joseph Calabrese, brother, John Calabrese, and sister, Marie Jacobs. Donn is survived by his wife, Sally (Sarah Arena) Calabrese; daughters, Susan (Cosmo) Cirocco, Shelly (Timothy) Eggert, Laura (Mark) Winkelbauer; son, Douglas Calabrese; grandchildren, Nicole, Christopher, Timothy, Brett and Paige; brother-in-law, Vincent (Jeanie) Arena; nieces, nephews & cousins. Donn is a graduate of RIT and co-founded The Conking & Calabrese Co. in Fairport. Throughout the years he has overseen many entities including the American Park Place, Genesee Reserve Supply, the Rochester Chapter of the Construction Specification Institute, the Tom Thumb-Tony Giambrone tent of the Circus Saints and Sinners, his favorite current charitable organization serving as the COB of the Italian Heritage Foundation. Donn's latest venture was the acquisition of the historic "Rio" Restaurant. Donn was the ultimate mentor, full of life, frequently reminding people "how beautiful life actually is".
